Sweets & Cream Owner Kimberly Norman Delivering $700 of Tips for Charity Merchandise to Tulsa SPCA

TULSA, Okla., (July 25, 2018) Through its ongoing effort to give back to the community, Sweets & Cream partnered with the Tulsa SPCA as one of its summer 2018 recipients for the Tips for Charity program. The initiative works year-round in support of local city non-profit organizations that work towards the betterment of the Tulsa community. The donations that were collected throughout the month of June from generous customers and patrons of the ice cream cookie sandwich shop totaled $700.

With the help of Southern Agriculture, Tips for Charity was able to provide over 100 new toys and treats for the dogs and cats. These included scratch pads, plastic toys, rubber toys, squeak toys, edible bones, chewing sticks, and more. These items will go to the many animals currently at the facility and will help further the important work that the SPCA is doing for the city of Tulsa.

The Tulsa SPCA is located at 2910 Mohawk Boulevard. Its mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats and engage the community to foster mutual well-being and its vision is that by 2025, through community engagement, the rate at which dogs and cats in the Tulsa area are abandoned, neglected or unnecessarily euthanized will be reduced.
